So...since my last post:
- 4 October: the waffles and reinforcing were delivered

- 7 October: the plumber came and connected the house

- 10 October: the slab was poured

Pouring the concrete
and some videos:
Massive
That's one clean slab!
We left our inital on the slab (where the aircon will be)
- 13 October: we had to remove all the dirt
Little truck did 7 trips to get rid of pile of dirt 1...that's 7 cartons of beer!- 17 October: the plumber came back to connect stormater and sewer and made a new big pile of dirt. He also managed to chip the slab on the garage side. We told James and we hope they will repair it soon!
Now we had a dirty slab
More dirt...- 19 October: the frame was delivered

- 28 October: the frame and roof trusees were constructed and the windows and sliding doors have been installed
The garage.
The front bedrooms.pretty impressive in less than a month. The weather has been pretty kind to us. Sofar MJH have requested extensions for 6 rain days (5 during slab and 1 on 26 October).
Neil goes to the house (we can call it the house now instead of the block :-) almost every day.
Our new Site Supervisor David Davies (I wonder if it is only his stage name) called me to introduce himself on Monday October and let me know that only frame work would be done during the week. So Neil didn't go during the week and was really surprs\ised to see on Friday that all the wall and roof trusses were installed and the windows were in. Brickwork should start soon!
On Saturday I went to have a look and noticed that they might have made some mistakes: in the entrance between the corridor and the children activity room there should be an opening and it looks like it is missing, and on the wall between the home theatre and the kitchen there should be a recess that is missing too!!! Neil is going to call David on Monday and I hope they can fix this quickly!
We also too the sign with our block number as a memorabilia.
